Essay topics:

The graph below shows the average house price in 3 countries between the years 1997 - 2014.

The graph compares the yearly average price of a house in three different countries from 1997 to 2014.
Overall, the average house price in country A, country B, and country C witnessed a significant increase over the period, country A experienced the most dramatic increase, more than tripling in value. The house price was almost more expensive in country A than that in both other countries.
Regarding the average house price in country A, it began at about $200k in 1997 and was also the highest house price. However, for the next three years, despite its growth, the price in country A was always cheaper than in country B, at around $210k and $250k in 2000 respectively. Conservely, in 2001, the figure for country A increased sharply to reach its peak of about $680k in 2014, although the figure saw a moderate fall at under $500k from 2004 to 2006. Similarly, the figure for country B started at under $200k in 1997 and then saw almost a twofold rise in 2005. Although the figure went down to nearly $250k in 2008, the house price in country B grew substantially to about $500k in the final year.
On the other hand, the average price of a house in country C increased the least significantly and also had the cheapest house price over time. Starting at about $100k in 1997, the figure rose gradually to nearly $250k. Although there was a marked fall to over $100k in 2008, the figure increased quickly to above $250k until the final year.
