The bar chart demonstrates the number of people using health clubs in Miami and Florida in 2017 while the pie charts give information about various age groups of the two sexes.
Overall, as can be seen from the first chart, the popularity of health club memberships experienced some major shifts; simultaneously, it is clear that men engaged in this service more than women did. Meanwhile, in the latter charts, youngsters made the most significant contribution.
The figures of male participants in clubs specializing in health were almost 600 in January. Then, they dropped by 50 a month later and underwent a steady upward trend for those next five months. After that, the numbers gradually decreased, reaching above 600 at the end of the period. In the meantime, in the first two months, the number of women involved in the service plateaued at 500. Subsequently, for the next consecutive seven months, they experienced positive growth. The ratio went down in October, rose by roughly 20 a month later, and nosedived by circa 100 in December.
In the pie charts, it is clear that people from 21-45 years old participated in health club the most as they made up more than half of the charts. The numbers of old people’s memberships of male and female were 25% and 31% respectively. On the other hand, other groups of age only took up one-fifth of the chart in the male section while in the female one, they accounted for less than 1% compared to their male counterparts.
