Overall , from 2000 to 2015 the number of Vietnamese students who studied in America and France rose significant. In France , the number of Vietnamese students enrolling was low at first but then slightly increased while Russia minimal decrease in the quantity of the students in Vietnam.
In 2000, the quantity of Vietnamese students who studied in France was the highest about 3.5 millions while This figure for Russia was 3 millions followed by America which had the lowest number of Vietnamese students with about 1.5 millions . Over the next 5 years , there was a significant decrease by nearly 1 millions in the number of students from Vietnam who studied in both France and Russia while America experienced a slight rise at about 0.5 millions in the quantity of Vietnamese students enrolling .
From 2005 to 2010 , the number of Vietnamese students who studied in France remained stable at around 2.5 million before growing to 4.5 millions in 2015. During the period , the figure for America increased significantly and then reached about 5 millions at the end of the period while the number of Vietnamese students who applying to Russia hit the lowest in 2010 at about 2.8 millions and then grew slightly to around 2.5 million in the final year .
