The charts detail the proportion of Australian secondary school graduates who were
unemployed, employed, or in further education in 1980, 1990, and 2000.
The pie charts compare how many percentages students are out of work, career or
continued study after passing secondary school between 1980,1990 and 2000.
In general, What stands out from the graph is that while the figure for students
choosing further education and did not work witnessed fluctuations, there was progress
gradual in the proportion of employed over the period shown.
Looking at the graph for more details, starting at 50%, the percentage of students in
secondary school who decided to continue their studies took first place in 1980, going
down to 28% in the next 10 years, then keep up its a downward trend by 1% during the
last year. In the case of the unemployed, the figure contributed to 10% at the beginning
time before pursuing to rise to 12% in 1990, however, that figure declined instead of
rising to 8% at the end of the period.
On the other hand, Employed was only a feature which had an upward trend. From the
beginning, the proportion of people who have a career made up 40% then started to
increase moderately to 55% in the next 20 years.
