The given line graph represents the information about eating white meat and several sorts of red meat in a European country from 1979 to 2004. The types of meat are categorized into fish, chicken, beef and lamp. Overall, it is clear from the graph that white meat, in which was fish, stayed constant in this period. While, all of red meat were significantly fluctuated throughout this period.
It is apparent that red meats can be divided into two trends (uptrend and downtrends). Firstly, uptrend, chicken consuming increased gradually from under 150 grams per person per week in 1979 to around 250 grams per person per week in 2004. On the contrary, consumption of beef and lamp, which was included into downtrend, were fallen to approximately 100 and 60 grams per person per week respectively, in 2004, from initially at 220 and 150 grams per person per week. However, eaten beef was fluctuated between 1979 to 1989. Turning to the fish consuming figure, there was maintained the same, accounting for nearly 50 grams per person per week.
