The line chart provided illustrates how many grams of four different type of meats ware consumed by people in a Europe nation in a week from 1979 to 2004.
during the reported year, it is evident that the consuming of chicken experienced an increase, while three remaining types of meat (beef, lamb, and fish) witnessed a downward trend.
Generally, in 1979, the chicken was not popular kind of meat consumed in a European country. it much smaller (140 grams) compares to the remaining types of meat. However, between 1979 and 1989, the number of consumed chicken increased gradually and surpassed the figure of beef in 1990, accounted for around 210 grams. Afterward, the number of consumed chicken fluctuated and reached the highest figure at around 260 grams in the 2000s, and ending the period with 250 grams.
beef, on the other hand, started the period as the highest figure (just above 200 grams). From 1979 and 1984, the number fluctuated and remain stable at around 235 grams between 1985 and 1987. Following that, the consumption of beef exponentially decreased to about 100 grams at the end of the reported year.
Two remaining kinds of meat (lamb and fish) stood at around 150 and just above 50 grams each. during the period, the number of consumed lamb revealed a declining trend to about 70 grams in 2004. Meanwhile, the number of fish consumption slightly changed during the period.
