The graph below shows the consumption of fish and some different kinds of meat in European country between 1979 and 2004.
The line graph depicts the intake of fish, lamb, beef and chicken by individual European people in grams from the year 1979 to 2004.
Overall, it can be manifested that consumption of fish, lamb and beef are decreasing by the time. Whereas, in case of chicken it is increasing and interestingly it becomes the most consumed food by Europeans.
Initially, In the year 1979 lamb and chicken shares almost equal proportion of uptake (149 grams). However by the time intake of lamb is getting decreased as compared to consumption of chicken which was 200 grams per single where former one was half then intake of latter in the year 1990. Lastly, chicken was noted the most preferred food by the residents of Europe for the year 2004.
Secondly, in the year 1979 beef was the most eaten food amongst the other categories at 220 grams per individual, moreover, it increased after two years even 30 grams more than before. However, by the time intake of beef started decreasing, even though it was the second most eaten food in the year 2004. Interestingly fish was the least food taken by the Europeans, although it was fluctuating throughout the time, it remains the lowest in the year 2004.
