The line graph compares the percentage of the consumption of fish and some different kinds of meat in Europe from 1979 to 2004.
Overall, the rate of chicken increased sharply, the proportion of beef, lamb, fish fell in this period.
According to the graph, In the 1979s, the beginning of the period, the consumption of chicken was 148 grams, which was the third-highest of alls and reached a peak of 250 grams in 2004, was the highest rate.
In contrast, in the 1979s, the percentage of lamb was about 150 grams whereas beef was the most popular consumption with 230 grams. After that, the rate of beef and lamb declined steeply to around 130 grams and 80 grams.
On the other hand, the proportion of fish decreased slightly from 70 grams to 40 grams. In the middle of the period, this rate remained stable at 50 grams from 1984s to 1994s.
