Essay topics:

The graph below shows the differences in wheat exports over three different areas.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.

The given line graph illustrate shifts in the number of wheat exported in three specific countries over 5-year period from 1985 to 1990.
In general, what stands out is that the number of exported wheat changed in each area. While the figure in European Community significantly went up, Autralia and Canada revealed the opposite trend.
Looking at details, in the year 1985, the number of wheat exports of Australia was 15 million tonnes. This figure slightly increased to roughly 17 million tonnes the next year and remained shrinking, hitting the low of approximately 13 million tonnes. Similarly, Canada was the country exporting the highest number of wheat among the three given areas in 1985 with nearly 20 million tones of exported wheat. Although the number of wheat exports of Canada hit the highest points of 25 million tonnes in 1988, it plunged to nearly 15 million tonnes and then recovered quickly to 19 million tonnes in the year 1990.
On contrary, European Community was ranked sencond in the three countries with the reported number of about 17,5 million tonnes. Despite of a dip in 1986, the figure progressively increased, climbing from approximately 14 to over 20 million tonnes in 1990.
