The graph below shows the different home activities among young children in four different countries.
The bar graph compares the percentage of various types of indoor curricular activities which are done by young children in four countries that are Malaysia, china, nigeria, and sudan. It is interesting to note that computer games is the most popular activity than others.
Overall, reading is not as much popular as computer games. However, book reading and watching television is considered as a better activity than reading.
In nigeria, most of the children play games on computer as about 60%, while half of this proportion utilised in watching television. Reading is the least popular activity with only 10%. However, board games carries double of it's percentage. similarly, In sudan computer games remains at top and watching television and reading has similar percentage (30%) and reading has also similar percentage as nigeria.
By contrast, the percentage of children playing computer games is as similar as in sudan (50%), whereas board games has half percentage. Meanwhile, watching television and reading has 5% more and less than percentage of the board games (25%) respectively.
