The graph below shows the different modes of transport used to travel to and from work in one European city in 1960, 1980, and 2000.
Write a report a university lecturer describing the information below.

The provided bar chart compares the different transportation systems in term of the percentage of citizens’ European country uesd to reach the office and return the home in three years: 1960, 1980 and 2000.
It can be seen clearly from the graph that with the widespread uses of car, the habit of people using bus declined significantly over time. The number of resident in European city in tube and train both fluctuate during the same period of time.
Turning to details, in 1960, initially most of the inhabitant in the European country used to commute either bus or tube, with the figures of 40% roughly and above 25% respectively, while a fifth of these Europeans used train and about 7% car usage. After two decades, the popularity of car and train soared noticeably meanwhile there was a decline in tube and bus. In this year, more people used train than any other transportation as their type of office conveyance nearly 38%, conversely, the tube and car was the least popularity among the four categories at 23% approximately.
In 2000, the scenario changed and the car went well ahead in these four categories with roughly 38% that could be observed. On the contrary, the bus seemed to lost its appeal as mode of transport, which only one in every fifteen people used to travel to and from their workplaces. In the case of tube, it retained almost one-fourth of the coummuters while the train usaege declined slightly and stood just above 20%.
