As can be seen from the chart, while Australian kids enjoy playing sports most, those in New Zealand prefer doing arts and crafts.
For Australian youths, the most popular activity is doing sports, followed by going to the park, which accounts for about 28% and 25%, respectively. Playing computer games and watching DVDs both attract 15%. The two least favored activities among Australian youths are reading books (10%) and doing art and crafts(7%).
In terms of children residing in New Zealand, doing art and crafts takes up 25%, making it the most popular recreational pursuit. Reading books and watching DVDs both account for 17%. While 14% of children in New Zealand prefer staying indoors and playing computer games, approximately 13% of youths in this country enjoy going to the park and playing sports.
