The graph below shows the information on waste disposal in a European country from 2005 to 2008. Summarize information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparison where relevant.
The given column graph depicts the three methods of treating wastage in a European nation in four years.
Overall, it is clear that landfill is very popular method during first two years ;however, during 2008 dumping in the sea used most by the county. It can be seen that burning was less important method over given period.
To begin with, during 2005, most of the waste was disposed by using landfill method which was about 2000 million tonnes. It is interesting to note that equal amount of waste (800 million tonnes) was treated by burning during 2005 and 2008. The quantity of wastage which was treated by dumping and burning during first two years was 1200 million tonnes each.
Probing further, 1500 million tonnes and 1400 million tonnes of waste was disposed by landfill and dumping method respectively during 2006. Surprisingly, in the 2008 dumping in the sea was used at large level and nearby 1600 million tonnes of waste was treated via this method. Surprisingly, the amount of waste treated by landfill was 300 million tonnes less than dumping method in last year.
