The graph below shows the number of enquiries received by the Tourist Information Office in one city over a six-month period in 2011.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.
The graph details the number of questionnaires received by the Tourist Information Center in a particular city in terms of a six-month period during 2011.
Looking from all perspectives, it is readily apparent that the trends for two in three of the data show an upward trend throughout the period, while there is one with a declining pattern. Turning to the details, more people tend to ring the office rather than to send emails or to contact in person during the first three months of the survey period. Then, the number of people asking in person exceeds that of the phone call after March, in which there is a gradual increase till June with more than 1800 people.
Meanwhile, the trend for the individuals sending emails shows a steady decrease between January and March, which later faces a sharp dip in May, from 700 to less than 400 in number. Regarding phone calls, the graph has minor fluctuations from January to March and leveled off for one month. However, the later three months showed moderate growth in the number of people, in addition of 600 individuals in June to the existing 1000.
To sum up, the lowest trend in January which is contacting in person stands at the top of the chart in June, while the ringing option reaches second place followed by inquiring through letters or emails.
