The line chart delineates how many international tourists visiting to different destinations in a particular European nation during the period of 2 decades, starting from 1987.
Looking from an overall perspective, it is obvious that the number of tourists visiting had a tendency to increase, meanwhile, the figure for the coastal region was higher than the two remaining places.
As is presented in the line chart, the quantity of international tourists who visited the coast ranked first in the year 1987, stood at 40.000, was fourfold and doubled in comparison to the data for the Lakes and the mountains respectively. While the number of those enjoying the mountain destinations was slightly increased fluctuation, the record for the Lakes witnessed a sharp growth and gain the first rank, peaking at 75.000 individuals. In contrast, the number of international residents who enjoyed the coastal areas dropped minimally by 5.000, however, it started to rise dramatically just beneath 65.000 in the year 2002.
By the year 2007, the number of people who come to European for enjoying maritime voyages ranked first again, reaching 75.000 travelers. However, the data for the mountainous landscape still ranked last, and it was halved to compare with coastal areas. Lastly, after a period of 15-year continual rise, tourists who have a tour of the Lake dropped significantly, particularly a third reduction compared to 2002.
