The graph below shows the number of tourists visiting a particular Caribbean island between 2010 and 2017.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant

The line graph illustrates a large quantity of travellers paying a visit to a particular Caribbean island over the course of 17 years, starting in 2010.
Overall, the island registered a significant upward trend in the number of visitors during the surveyed period. Another striking feature is that the figure for tourists staying on island contributed more greatly to the total number of visitors to the island than that on cruise ships.
The quantity of travellers to Caribbean island staying on ships starting under 0.5 millions of people increased slightly to 500 thousands of visitors from 2010 to 2011. However, one year later, there was a minimal reduction to 0,5 million in this figure. After that, it witnessed a sharp rise to over 1 million in 2015. In addition, while remaining unchanged at about a million of people during the first year, the number of visitors staying on the island went up remarkably to 1.5 million in 2013, and remained stable until 2015.
From 2016 to 2017, both the numbers of travellers staying on island and on cruise ships similarly reached their highest point at 1.5 million and 2 million, respectively. Besides, at the end of this period, the quantity of people staying on cruise ships was higher than that on island.
