The next year witnessed stability in the number of people staying on the island when visiting. Subsequently, this figure rose gradually to 1.5 million in 2013. After 2013, it stayed unchanged at this point in 2015. From 2015 to 2016, it decreased moderately, but recovered to climb to 1.5 million in 2017.
