The graph below shows the number of tourists visting a particular Caribbean island between 2010 and 2017.

The given illustration provides the percentage of visitors who going to a main Caribbean island from 2010 to 2017.
It is clear that the proportion of people visiting a Caribbean island reached a peak in 2017. On the other hand, tourists had the lowest percentages in 2010.
There was gradual increase in the number of people visiting a Caribbean island over a period of 2 years: about 1 million in 2010, 1,25 million in 2011 and 1,5 million in 2012. Furthermore, visitors had a sudden climb between 2012 and 2014; about 1,5 million in 2012, 2 million in 2013 and 2,5 million in 2014. Besides, tourists remained the same stable in 2015, 2016: about 2,75 million.
Visitors staying on island were high in comparison with those staying on cruise ships in 2015: between 1,5 million and 1,25 million. However, in 2016, people showed their preference for staying on cruise ships rather than staying on island: about from 1,5 million to 1,25 million. In addition to, the number of visitors travelling on cruise ships was twice than those on island: about 2 million and 1 million.
