The line graph compares the proportion of export from Australia to 4 different countries ( Japan, the US, China and India) from 1990 to 2012. Overall, it can be seen that the rates of Australian export to China and India constantly increased whereas the exports to Japan and US decreased.
In 1990, exports to Japan registered the highest figure in the graph. From 1990 to 2012 the rates experienced a slight decrease from above 25% to over 15%. Similarly, the production exported by Australian to the Us witnessed a slight decrease from 11% to around 5% in 2012 despite sơm recovering in 2000.
From 1990 to 2012, export to China witnessed a sharp increase from 3% to over 25%, surpassing the rates of export to Japan to become the highest figure in the graph. The rates of imports in India also increased slightly from 4% to 5% in 2012 after reaching the highest in 2010.
