The graph below shows the percentage of part-time workers in each country of the United Kingdom in 1980 and 2010.

The bar graph above illustrates the comparison of the percentage of people working part-time during the year 1980 and 2010 in four countries of United Kingdom. As seen from the graph, the number of hard-working citizens is more in Wales in both the years. Also, the number of part-time workers has kept increasing in England, Scotland, and Wales from 1980 to 2010. Whereas, Northern Ireland is the only country where people have opted to not work additionally from their full-time jobs in 2010 compared to 1980.
In the beginning, the highest positive difference of percentage (nearly 9%) between 1980 and 2010 is in Scotland. Following this, the lowest negative difference (around 2%) is noted in Northern Ireland. Furthermore, the percentage of part-time workers in Wales is greater than 30% in both the years. Also, it is less than 20% in Northern Island and Scotland during both years.
Finally, it is noted that the highest percentage of part-time workers is approximately 34% in Wales in the year 2010 and lowest percentage of part-time workers is almost 12% in Scotland in the year 1980.
