The graph depicts information about the numbers of Good transported in Britain using four kinds of transportation’s methods from 1974 to 2002 counted by million tonnes
At a glance we can observe that the numbers of good transported in UK increased over the period in all type transportation. The highest good transported numbers were carried out by using road. By contrast, the pipeline transportation way was the most unfavorable methods for transporting the goods over the period.
At the beginning in 1974, the numbers of good transported by road stood at 70 and then show a fluctuated- increase until the end of period at almost 100 which was being the highest rank. The second highest was followed by the water transportation which experienced a fluctuated-uplift and brought around 65 million tonnes goods at the end period although this mode was in only less then 40 in 1974, below of rail mode.
The pipeline and rail were standing at about 5 and 40 in the beginning. Good transported by pipeline experienced a steadily upward over the period and stop at more than 20 million tonnes. Meanwhile, the rail witnessed a fluctuated movement under 40 until 1998 and closed the 2002 at slightly more than 40 million tonnes.
