Overall, more British students had good performance in liberal arts and social subjects than international students while international students performed better than British students in science subjects. The percentage of students with second class degrees and over is similar in both UK and other countries in other subjects.
The most majority (80%) of British students gained second class degrees or better in art history. The percentage of international students with this score is slightly lower at 70 percent. The results are similar in sociology: 80 percent of UK students and 73 percent of international student gained these degrees. While 70 percent of students from UK gained high scores in international law, only nearly two-thirds of that of international students did in the same subject. Roughly 55 percent of students from other countries performed well or better in English literature whereas much more UK students (75 %) did in this subject. This is similar in international law course.
With regard to science subjects, things are quite different.
