The graph reveals, about the drinking habit of US people according to their age group.
Overall, the percentage of non-drinkers are high in almost every age group , while, heavy drinkers are lowest.
In details, age group between 45 to 54 are ranked as highest hard drinkers with roughly 13% and 35 to 54 age group is just behind with only tine percentage (1%). An insignificant proportion (2%) are the lowest, which lies in 65 to 74 age group. While, the ratio of light drinkers are highest in 25 t0 34 age group with around 32% and lowest with approximately 5% remain in age group of over 65. 35 to 44 and 45 to 54 age group contain similar percentage of light drinkers with about 20% and nearly 23% in 16 to 24 age. The people from old age (over 65) are the maximum ex drinkers with roughly 40% and 55 to 65 age group contains around 23% of ex-drinkers. The lowest ex-drinkers remain in the age group of 25 to 34 and 35 to 54 with almost similar percentage (3%). Similarly, non drinkers are high in the age group of 16 to 24 with 60% and there is only slightly differences in other group, while, 65-74 age group is the lowest (less than 45%) in non drinkers sector
