The line graph illustrates the income of worker in many ages who in 2002. It comprises of people who has bachelor’s degree, postgraduate diploma and other certificates.
Overall, it can be observed that all of the three lines witnessed a significant increase and peaked before slightly dropping, except that the wages of people who have first degree suddenly went up before they retired.
At the youngest age groups, new employees with first degree had the lowest income which stood at roughly 350, while the income of those with higher degree and other qualifications levelled off at 390 and 420 respectively. After experiencing an upward trend of the salary of 3 groups of workers, the income of graduates who have first degree and others peaked at age 36-40, which were approximately 700 and 820. From the group of age 41-45 to the end of working age, there was a gradual decline of the salary of those people. Whereas the salary of others and people with first degree stood at the same point which was 780, the wage of higher degree’s graduates suddenly reached a high of 790.
