The bar chart depicts the percentage of male and female staff members across different faculties in a major university in the year 2012.
On analyzing the graph, there are two main faculties which interested the male and female staff members largely with male staff members being dominant in the Engineering and female being dominant in Education faculty.The male staff members shares the same percentage in science and business while female being only half the percentage as male.Next to the Education, the other faculty which had the female percentage more is the arts field where male staff members were quite less compared to all other faculties in the unviersity.
Though there were quite differences in the percentage in the faculty there was one faculty where both male and female staff members were in equal proportion.It was medicine.It nearly accounted to 50 % of the staff members in the year 2012.
The other faculty is the Law and the science field where there was nearly same percentage as male and female proportions in the university.It could be inferred from the graph that the academic percentage of the year 2012 shows that engineering and education has more number of students in the university than other faculties.
