The given line graph shows information about prediction of how many global citizens will study three main languages namely English, Spanish and Mandarin over a decade from 2020 to 2030.
It is obvious that the number of learners of three languages is upward trend within ten years. Additionally, the figure for English learners are likely overwhelm that of the others over a span of time in question.
During first six years, after rising sharply by 250 million between 2020 and 2024, the number of English learners will reach the highest point at 700 million in 2024, then decrease noticeable by 130 million. Although the number of Mandarin learners will be less than that of Spanish in 2020 about 100 million and around 220 million respectively, the total number of Mandarin and Spanish learners will be almost same about 300 million in 2026.
Between 2026 and 2030, the people learning Mandarin will overtake Spanish's. The figures are 580 million and around 500 million respectively. At the same time, that of English goes up steadily to 750 million in 2030, being a peak point of whole period.
