The pie charts illustrate the percentages of highest educational levels achieved by citizens of a country between 2000 and 2017.
Overall, it can be seen that more people acquired vocational degree than any other categories mentioned in both years, then followed by undergraduate degree and secondary diploma.
As displayed in the graphs, in 2000, almost 40% of people went to study in vocational schools, accounted for the highest proportion among the groups shown. By contrast, only 9% of the citizens had obtained a post-graduate degree by 2000. In addition, the proportion of undergraduates and secondary students were roughly similar, with about 20% and 21% accordingly.
Furthermore, in 2017, there was a slight decrease in the percentage of vocational students from 37% to only 30%. Meanwhile, more people attended colleges, with an increase of 7% for undergraduates and 5% for post-graduates. Finally, only 4% of people had below secondary education, which was the lowest proportion at that time.
