Overall, it can be seen that the number of serious injuries was the highest among the middle ages, and it was the lowest at the extremities. The (20-34) year old age group accounted for just over half of all car deaths.
Comparing the data, the (25-34)year olds made up 19% of all fatal crashes while driving, and the highest serious injuries at 30,437. The (20-24) year olds experienced the highest accident deaths at 32%, but they made up 20,342 from serious injuries in Canada. The 25,048 (34-44) age bracket suffered from serious injuries, and only 18% were killed while driving. Besides, 15% of the (55-64) year-olds died in fatal accidents, while 17,874 of these ages were seriously injured. The 65 and above were both less likely to be injured or killed at 15,728 and 8%, respectively. The (15-19) year olds followed the same pattern but with the highest injuries at 16,721 and 8% fatal crashes.
