The graph given illustrates the percentage of three different means of communication which people first acquired local news and world news from 1987 to 1997 in the UK.

In general, people in the UK tended to watch television to achieve world news more than other means. Meanwhile, reading newspaper was more favourable with the British in order to get local news.
