Life cycle of a frog
The diagram illustrates the life cycle of a frog, in general, frog eggs are passed through six key stages before growing up to an adult frog.
In the first stage of life cycle, eggs are laid in the water plants, each having an embryo inside. After a few weeks, tadpole then hatches and increases its size with a long tail. In the next step, head of tadpole grows bigger and front legs gradually appear to prepare for future life on the land.
At the fourth stage of the cycle, tadpole starts of pulmonary breathing, it is marked that they can live two different habitats before the emergence of a tadpole frog which has a bigger mouth and a short tail. A young frog still lives near the pond where it was born until the mature of an adult frog. At this final stage, it moves onto the land and its tail also disappears.
