The line graph below shows the percentage of tourists to England who visited four different attractions in Brighton.
The line graph represents how many tourists visited four distinctive Brighton attractions in UK from 1980 to 2010.
Overall, pavilion and festival were the favourite attractions. In the earlier periods, the least popular attraction was the pier but this changed to art gallery by the end of the period.
During 1980 to 1990 there was a sharp increase in the proportion of visitors visiting in pavilion from 28% to reach at its highest point of 48% in 1995 and then gradually decreased to 31% in 2010. The similar trend was shown for art gallery which increased rapidly from 22% to 37% from 1980 to 1985 then declined substantially to less than 10% over the next twenty five years.
In contrast, the number of tourists who visited the Festival fluctuated slightly but in general remained steady at about 25%. Visitors to the pier witnessed a periodic fluctuation for the beginning of twenty years before picking up of incremental trend from 12% to 22% from 2000 to 2010.
