Closer inspection of the diagram shows the population size in two country at the beginning 18th century was 3 million. At the same time, the death rate ocuppied approximately 27 million and the birth rate was 30 million which the figures for birth rate was almost 10 times that of total population. In 1850, whereas the population size increased to 10 million, the birth rate witnessed a drop to 32 million. The death rate in 1850 was approximately 27 million which remained stable as the figure at the beginning 18th century. From 1850 to 2000, the total population in England and Wales grown up substaintialy and it hit the highest point with 50 million. At the same time, the figure of birth rate fluctuated and it was smaller than total population by approximatly 20 million. Meanwhile, the death rate dropped insignificantly to 20 million which is the smallest figure than the others
