Overall, it can be seen that there was a downward trend in both Great Britain, France and Canada expected for Sweden. In addition, Great Britain was the largest figure in most of the periods given.
It varied consistently during the period, starting at 18 robberies per thousand cars in 1990 Great Britain data fluctuated to 16 robberies per thousand cars in 1999. While those in France and Canada was between 5 to 7 per thousand cars from 1990 to 1999. In the first year , France’s figure was over 5 robberies per thousand cars, then it climbed to 8 robberies per thousand cars in one year later. There were some slight shifts around 6 robberies per thousand cars from 1992 to 1994. Afterward, it climbed to 7 robberies per thousand cars in the last year. About Canada data, it decreased from 8 to 5 robberies per thousand cars between 1990 to 1993, then it increased steadily to 7 robberies per thousand cars in 1999.
On the other hand, this trend in Sweden had a rise of robberies during the period. Between 1990 to 1992 it fluctuated around 9 robberies per thousand cars and stay unchanged till 1993. After that, it grew to 13 robberies in 1996 and peak at 14 robberies per thousand cars in 1999.
