The bar chart depicts why people take up studies for age demographics. The bottom chart gives insight into the support provided by the employer for the students of different ages.
Two reasons namely – career growth and interest are used to compare people of various age groups which are under 26, 26-29, 30-39, 40-49 and 49 and over.
According to the bar chart, most of the students who chose to study for growth in their career are under 26 years of age which is followed by 70 students being in the age group 26-29 years. The least students who opt for the same cause are 49 and above. The pattern, however, reverses when one looks at the reason as an interest to decide to study which shows the least number (10) of students under 26 years and the highest (70) being when someone crosses the age of 49 years. The trends indicate as age increases someone is most likely to take up studies due to their interests rather than career growth.
The same age groups are used to present the time off and scholarship provided by employers. Most of the students who are able to secure the bursaries and free time are under 26 years. The age group followed by the under 26 is 26 -29 which has about 50 students. The number dips in the middle age group of 30-39 years only to increase for the subsequent age groups.
