The map below shows the development of the village of Ryemouth between 1995 and present

The two illustrations give information on changes of Ryemouth's village from 1995 to present.
In general, the village of Ryemouth has experienced modernisation with addition of fishing port in the sea. Moreover, the forest park has been removed from its territory.
In the north-western part, more houses have been situated near the road than in 1995 and shops which was placed near the sea has been replaced by restaurant. Then, in the south-western side of the village, at the expense of the six fish markets, then four apartments have been built next to the sea. After that, a fishing port has been added in the sea.
Turning to the east, the golf area has been constructed with tennis court extensively in place of farmland and trees have been removed from there. Subsequently, hotel which is located in the south-eastern side, has remained unchanged. However, car park has been added nearby.
