The picture shows the possible sites for future plans of the new supermarket in Garlsdon town. Overall, the first supermarket is located in the countryside which is inconvenient for most of the population, while the second supermarket location is very strategic because it is located in the center of the town centre.
According to the picture, the first supermarket is located in the suburbs, which is only convenient for the people who live in the northern housing and Hindon that is located 12 km from there. However, there are only 10,000 people that live in Hindon.
As it can be seen, the second supermarket is located in the central of the town centre. Hence, it will be inconvenient for people who lived in southern housing, Bransdon, and Cransdon. The second supermarket is predicted to be more crowded because of the population. There are 44,000 population living in that area. Nevertheless, people can still go to the far supermarket because Garlsdon provides some infrastructure, such as main roads and railway, which can make people easier to move from south to the north. Moreover, the railway can make both supermarket connected to each other.
