The given map represents the town of Garlsdon where a new supermarket was going to be launched. The provided map gives information on two feasible areas for the supermarket.
From the map, it was clear that site 1 is placed in the country side and site 2 is centrally located in the town which is a traffic free area. Considering site1, it was near to the Hindon population who are about 10,000 people and it is also close to one of the industries of the town. Site two is available to all the nearby villages that is Brandson, Cransdon and Hindon. Cransdon has the highest population of 29,000 and is 12kms far from the second site. Bransdon with 15,000 people is nearly 16kms far from site2. Cransdon and Bransdon were on the same side to the south of the site2. While Hindon is on the west diagonal 12kms away from second area with about 10,000 population. Site two also has a railway crossing the area of the market and is totally surrounded by houses, it also has one of the industries situated to the south of the supermarket.
