The two maps below depict the heart of a town named Islip at present time and in the future after being redeveloped. Overall, it is noticeable that there will be new facilities in the town center after being rebuilt.
Currently, the Main Road is flanked by Shops row and Countryside on the North, and another Shops row and Housing area on the South. Moreover, there is also another Housing area near the School, which is located on the southwest side of the town center, and also Park on the southeast side of the town.
In the future, the Main Road will be used only for Pedestrians. Next, the north Shops row and Countryside will be demolished and replaced with new facilities such as Bus Station, Shopping Centre, Car Park, and New Housing area. Meanwhile, the south Shops row will be maintained along with other previous facilities such as Park, School, and two Housing areas. Lastly, New housing area will be built near the Park, and the road will be turned into Roundabouts with Dual carriageway which will connect the entire town centre as a whole.
