The maps below show the changes that have taken place at the seaside resort of Templeton between 1990 and 2005.
The maps show the developments that occurred at the seaside resort of Templeton during a 15-year period from 1990 to 2005.
It is clear that the biggest change that happened was the resort has become a much more industrial area with modern infrastructure.
In 1990, the resort was much greener with a large number of trees. However, almost all of the trees and the small building was located next to the lake were replaced by two skyscrapers. Likewise, there were many residential houses in the southeast area of the Templeton, but those houses were demolished in 2005 to make way for skyscrapers. There was also a construction of a new big supermarket close to the skyscrapers.
In addition, an airport was built in the north. All the trees and houses near the coastline disappeared and were replaced by a large factory, while the railway was lengthened and it was located along the coastline. A new ferry was constructed in the southeast area of the resort. Meanwhile, the school and the hospital still remained until 2005.
