The maps represent the changes made in the village of Stokeford from 1930 to 2010.
Overall, most part of farmland has changed into residential areas as more houses had been built. Post office and primary school had remained unchanged.
Looking in details, the farmland was placed the majority areas in Stokeford in 1930 which was mainly located in south and north east of Stokeford villages. Gardens sited in the middle of the village next to the main road, which ran parallel to the river stoke, surrounded by large houses and trees.
By 2010, majority of farmland had removed and more houses had been constructed as well as roads. As the more roads had built for the easier access to the residential areas, the houses had constructed along the roads. During those constructions, the shops had removed and those areas have used as for more houses. The garden areas and large houses had substituted by retirement houses whereas primary school had expanded its size.
