The diagrams compare the statistical data regarding the ages of the habitats of Yemen and Italy in 2000 and also an estimate in 2050.

Overall, it is clear to see that the ages of populations of Yemen and Italy have an upward trend on the rates of people with 60 years or more while there is a downward trend on the percentages of people who are 0-59 years old in two countries.

In 2000, we can see that the majority of the population is between 0 and 14 years old (50.1%) in Yemen, whereas in Italy the most of citizens are from 15 to 59 years old (61.6%). However, just 3.6% of people in the former country are 60 years old or more in 2000, while in the latter nation this figure is represented with 24.1%.

In 2050, the projections show that the figure for people with 15-59 years and above 60 years will increase in Yemen, reaching 57.3% and 5.7% respectively. By contrast, in Italy, the population with 15-59 years and 0-14 years will decrease to 46.3% and 11.5% respectively, while people who are 60 years or more will grow to 42.3%.
