Mobile phone owner growth
The bar chart provides information regarding the increase number of citizens in 10 countries who had mobile phone from 1995 to 2000.
In general, initially, the difference numbers of phone owners of those countries were not as sharp as those of in later year.
A more detailed look at the graph reveals that in 1995, UK, Germany, and Sweden showed to have the three biggest mobile phone ownerships respectively (around 4 million). Then, this kept to be in that position in 2000. However, as those of Germany rocketed to 14 million while UK only reached 12 million and Italy just grew to 10.5 million, they led the other two countries.
Furthermore, the numbers of handphone owners of other 7 countries were below 2 million in the prior year whereas three of them experienced dramatic increase in the next half decade (Sweden, France and Spain) to 9 million, 7 million and 5 million respectively.
