money spent on books in 4 countries
The presented line chart illustrates the number of money which people paid out for books in 4 countries, namely Germany, France, Italy and Australia between 1995 and 2005.
In general, money spent on books increased year by year in different countries but Australia was the country having a sharp rise in its number.
Firstly, in 1995, German paid out 80 millions dolars for buying books, more than 30 millions Italian. From 1995 to 1999, the number of money spent on books in Garmany grew slightly to 90 millions dollars in 1999 while this figure in Italy declined to under 50 millions after witnessing a small climb in 1997, at approximately 60 millions dollars. In the last six years, Italian used more and more money for books and this number in 2005 was above 60 millions. Meanwhile, before leaping to a new peak in 2005, at nearly 100 millions dollars, money spent on books in Germany fall smally to under 90 millions.
In other countries, French paid out 55 millions dollars in 1995 for books, followed by Australian, at 50 millions. In the period from 1995 to 1999, there was a slight increase in the number of money spent on books in France and Austria, at 60 millions and 40 millions respectively. Untill 2001, this figure in Austria stayed constant, whereas one in France jumped to nearly 70 millions dollars. Though, between 2001 and 2005, both of which reached at peak nearly 70 millions.
