Overall, the Internet is the most popular method that people are using to access news; and this trend is likely to continue in the future.
The percentage of people watching the news on TV reached nearly 70% in 1995. Then this figure dropped gradually to 55% in 2020, even though it increased slightly to 60% in 2010. The downtrend will continue in 2025 to exact 50%. Additionally, starting from approximately 55% in 1995 for radio and newspaper. Those methods declined to 30% in 2020. it is expected that there will be 25% of people listening to the news via radio and 30% of people reading the newspaper.
Although the Interner only became available in 1995 and attracted a small proportion of people in 2000, it increased sharply in 2020 with 40% of people using it. The figure is expected to increase to nearly 60% in 2025, overcoming newspapers to become the most common method to access news.
