The picture gives information on how the used glass bottles are recycled.
Overall, it involves three stages and 10 steps, which starts with collection of wasted glass bottles and ends with delivery of newly made bottles fro sale in super markets.
In the first stage, the second-hand bottles are collected at the collection area and then transported to the recycling area. The second stage starts with washing of the collected bottles with high-pressure water to remove dust particles, after which they are sorted according to their colour (brown, green and clear) .
Then they are moved to the glass factory in order to crush the bottles into small pieces. The broken glass pieces are then exposed to heat by burning in furnace at 600 to 800 degree celsius. Next, the recycled molten glass is coupled with new liquid glass and poured into a mould to get the shape of a bottle. The new bottles are then filled with drinks and delivered to markets for sale to the consumers.
