The given diagrams illustrate six types of devices that young people used to watch television in one European country between 2007 and 2017. A quick overview of the chart reveals that in 2007, youngsters used conventional TV the most while 10 years later this kind of media accounted for the least proportion.
Looking at details, the percentage of conventional TV which young people used to watch TV made up the highest proportion, at 34% of the total. The figure for laptop and desktop followed by 20% and 28% respectively. Standing at 15% of mobile phone used to review television higher than 8% of flat-screen TV. Meanwhile, only 5% of the tablet were used to watch TV by the people who fell into the 18 to 25 aged group.
By 2017, the proportion of conventional TV decreased rapidly to 4%, hence, the flat-screen TV became the most popular device (27%) was used by teenagers throughout the time surveyed. The figure for mobile phone and tablet rose significantly while the figure for laptop witnessed a slow fall of around 8%.
