The given circular diagram describes the main reasons behind the land degradation throughout the world and tabular chart is revealing information about three particular regions, suffered from the same during the year 1990.
The most striking feature we can see from the first chart is that there are three main reasons behind the land degradation namely; overgrazing ,deforestation and over cultivation , and there might be another reaons too. As it is crystal clear that over grazing covers the largest Part of land with 35/ followed by deforestation and over-cultivation with 30 and 28 percentum of land respectively.
Secondly, the tabular chart represents the information about three main regions that have been suffered greatly from infertile land during the period of 1990.North american land got degraded just because of over-grazing of animals while the main cause in europe wad over -cultivation.However,oceania also faced the problem of infertility due to habit of over grazing.
Overall, it is evident that over -grazing activity is the major cause of land degradation comparef to the other three of the main causes especially in the europe region
