As is observed from the given illustration, Universal land is degraded by four major causes: over cultivation, overgrazing, deforestation and other, whereas the regions affected by these causes: North America, Europe and Oceania are mentioned in second layout; tabular chart.
It can be clearly seen that, more than a third of the total land is degraded by overgrazing.In addition to this, the second cause of degradation of global land is deforestation; which spoils less than a third of the total land whereas, the another cause of Degradation is over cultivation, which comprises 28% agricultural land into less productive comma and 7% land is degraded due to other causes.
Secondly, as mentioned in tabular chart, 5% land was degraded in North America because this Nation involve; 0.2% deforestation, 3.3% over cultivation and 1.5% overgrazing. Surprisingly, in Europe, land had being degraded by highest percentage; 33% due to 9.8% deforestation, 7.7% over cultivation, 5.5% overgrazing. Lastly, in Oceania there had been deforestation, over cultivation, overgrazing by the percentage of 1.7%, 0%, 11.3% respectively which results in total 13% degradation.
