The provided pie chart depicts the major causes of deterioration of quality of agriculture land the world and the table illustrate reasons affecting three distinctive regions in 1990s.
This is discernible from the chart that maximum land was degraded because of over-grazing that was 35%. It was followed by, over cultivation and deforestation with both same at approximately 30%. However, others were the least reason which was 7%.
This is also apparent, from the table that North America was mostly affected by over-cultivation which comprised of 3.3% while deforestation was minimum with only 0.2%. Europe had most land degraded that was 28% and major reason was again over-cultivation. In Oceania over-grazing was highest which was 11.3% but there was no over-cultivation.
From the over all analysis, it is seen that all three causes were having equal effect on world but in regional distribution over-grazing and over-cultivate were main causes.
