It is clearly seen from the given pie chart that , about 28 percent of the land was degrated due to the cause of over cultivation during the year 1990.
Firstly, we can seen that, 30 percent of the land was degrated due to the deforestation. Furthermore, the highest number of land was degrated due to overgrazing i.e 35 percent , and at last, only 7 percent of the land was degrated due to the other reasons.
Secondly, in the given tabular chart, it is seen that during the year 1990, in America, 5 percent of the total land was degraded due to the deforestation, over-cultivation and over-grazing with the ratio 0.2 : 3.3 : 1.5 . Moreover , the highest land was degraded in Europe with total 23 percent and the ratio of their causes are 9.8 : 7.7 : 5.5 . At the last in Oceania, about 13 percent of the total land was degraded with the ratio 1.7 : 0 :11.3 respectively.
Overall, it is evident that , overgrazing activity is the main cause of the land degradation as compare to the other two causes especially in Europe region during 1990
